Concerns: Content, representation and the goals of the Hijabi Monologues

Salaamwallaykum,
First of all, I wanted to say that the meeting last week was a very interesting one that has left me thinking. My intention was to provide answers regarding the Hijabi Monologues performance, but our interesting discussions only raised more questions.

I thought that the questions and concerns brought up in reference to the content of the monologues were valid and worth extending. Please share any question you had or have. It is also very helpful if you refer to the specific monologue in question and include the link to the video (videos can be found on http://www.hijabimonologues.com/). This will help all of us respond to you.
